Default install new headers/13t turbos/fmic

Hey all, been a while since i posted. I was looking to see if any shop would be willing to do this for me? I have one of the CX Racing front mount kits, shouldn't be too hard, along with some replacement headers that are bolt on (mine have a crack in them). Not sure what all else I would need for the new turbos besides some bigger injectors and probably a fuel management device, as I already have an upgraded fuel pump.

Anyway, I want this to be done right, and can let the car sit for a while (after next week), if anyone knows of a shop here/near Cincinnati, that would be great - I know IPS is up north a little bit but I was hoping for something closer to home.

Jeff - it looks like I am going to wait on the new short block since mine seems to be doing well. Might as well keep it till it breaks.

Lenny - we could get a wrench/poker night together for just the headers, if you were interested. I know work has got you pretty busy but I hear Tuesday nights just got a little free for all of us.

Thanks for the help all.

I'd be game to come down, really all of those can be done in a day though idk how much you want to tackle all at once...

Thanks Turbs - I'll be sure to keep you posted if the wrench/poker party ensues. I figured at the very least I could get the headers done in a few hours, but I figured since I'd have the headers off, it would make sense to put the turbos in....thus the FMIC....one then the next. I'm looking to buy some 550ish sized injectors + the new Neo or something comparable for the fuel management. Let me know if you come across a good deal up there.

When you say headers, do you mean true tubular headers? Or, are you referring to the stock exhaust manifolds? Reason I ask is that I JUST did this on my car, headers + 13T's, and what I found is that by sticking in 2 parts (The header and the larger 13t housing) that were not originally there to begin with, this basically set off a chain reaction of like a bajillion other parts not fitting right. I can't even tell you them all honestly, everything from little brackets, to notching motor mounts, oil & coolant lines to the turbos, and trimming 1/2" off studs....all kind of stuff. I think most of the fitment issues were caused by the headers , than the turbos. If you're going with stock exhaust mani's and 13t's, you'll probably be fine. But if you're going aftermarket headers and 13t's.... be ready to spend some major time on the project. But who knows, you might get lucky, maybe get a little better set of headers than I got. But just thought I'd throw it out there. Good Luck!

Thanks for the heads up! I believe the mani's that I have are supposed to be stock replacement, just bolt-on and go. I hope that's what they are. We'll see. Still waiting to hear back from Lenny or Chris.

yes, they all 'say' they are. And I don't think that the manufacturer's intend them to be otherwise. But, real world, they don't fit perfectly. I have done headers on this car, as well as on american v8 muscle, and every set i've ever bought needed some 'work' to get them to fit....even though, they all said 'bolts right on'. But good luck with your project.
