It is dubbed, most def. Revving and returning to idle that quickly couldn't be done w/o SUPER lightweight internals, among other things that prove it's impossible.

yeah its close to how mine sounded. Thats just a video so I don't know what that exhaust setup is.

My SL from intake to exhaust was:

FIPK, blocked off resonator, stock engine with lightweight crank pulley, lightweight flywheel, 3 inch dp, 3 inch straight back to the flowmaster 40 series, two 3inch pipes to a 4 inch square tip on each side. It did switch tones from low to high.

More than likely, it's not dubbed. When I bought my VR4, the former owner told me about the "F1 sound". He told me that if I go to a track day and have someone videotape the car, that in the straights when the hammer is down, pulling high rpms, it will sound like a Formula 1 car going through the paces. I have a lot of mods done to the engine w/ TD04 15G Turbokinetics, custom downpipes, no cats and a 3" single shot w/Bee-R muffler. I'm going to the NG08 and am entered in all the driving events, so I hope to have video posted by the end of June.
