Oh how sad...

Saw a black '99 base (or maybe a 97/98) ABANDONED on Route 9 south in CT this afternoon just before exit 4 with a big orange sticker on the bumper panel. Who would leave such a beautiful car all alone along a busy highway? The horrors the horrors. I really hope the owner comes back for it and fixes it up.

I saw that too!!!!

Its a 98 base I took the VIN down

It said leather interior though and a DOHC and I don't think those were options on base models of the 97-99 years but whatever, I want it, its $free.99

I'm sick I know lol but see its a 2g I have a 1g, and for the 200+ or whatever for towing, having a full on parts car for a 2g body swap is amazing, AND I can get rid of the porno red man. Gonna see what strings I can pull monday to get it towed to my father's business and keep it there 30 days till its legally mine

You can really just tow an abandoned car home? Wow, I never knew that. I'm assuming you have to report it to the police and, if not claimed it 30 days, the car legally becomes yours? No offense, but I still hope the owner is able to get it back. I know I would hate to lose something that nice. If you do end up with it... awesome.

well our first thought was that it was stolen, it looks really scratched up in front and the driver side mirror is missing, it looks like it hit a deer or another car, the drivers side headlight is a bit cracked, but nothing wrong with teh engine, there was really no reason to leave it there abandoned why not just drive it home, so who knows but my dad is giving the state police a call tomorrow to see what we can do the hood needs some bondo work and the bumper needs work too but w/e still a good find IF i can get it

Today, around 8:20AM:

Spotted what appeared to be a very good looking younger woman in a nice purple (I think) 94-96 3000gt with some sort of 7-spoke(?) aftermarket wheels. You were pulling out onto route 22 in Northford in the plaza where 22 and 17 meet. I was in my 98, I waved but I think you were looking at oncoming traffic. You on here?

I used to see that same exact car parked at the CVS in the center of Northford when I lived there a couple years back. I always wanted to stop and chat with the owner, but my wife was with me and thought I was insane. Totally would have done it otherwise

There's also a white '97 or '98 SL that's parked just a couple plaza's up (across from that big stone church). Some kind of upgraded wheels. I think it's an older woman who drives it. It used to be there every single day.
