Can anyone refer a good Tranny rebuilder?? - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

I'm in western mass and blew the tranny. Figured I would explore all my options and ask the New England Chapter. I can't see buying a used with high miles if I can find a reasonably priced job. Please refer me to a rebuilder if you know one. Its a 5-speed manual FWD 95 3000gt SL

go with AWD 5-speed modified. fwd mtx trannies are glass.

I know ESP performance is up there and I've heard good things about them. I don't know if they do rebuilds or not.

Yes, see Tim. He rebuilt many trannys for Dave and just installed a new tranny, TC and diff for me. He is also rebuilding (not really a rebuilt so much as resealing) my stock 6spd. Great quality, good price, and he KNOWS these cars. He is located in Stow, MA.

Nick are you keeping your 6 spd drivetrain after the Tranny is rebuilt?
