So, overall here is what people thought....
Performance hands down was amazing, but HIN is barely a performance show. The look of my car was amazing, from a crisp, rare VR4 perspective. Judges like flashing lights and stuff really unique. VLS is not unique if you catch my drift. Sadly, they wanted almost $250 for power, which I wasnt going to pay. I wish though I could have powered up my carPC and shown off the interior lighting. Things I am going to work on for next time: Polishing the entire engine and cleanup better. I might bring some "flashy" things to attract the judges better, just for HIN (i am not ricing this shit). I did get an editor in chief of some magazine called "HotCars" approach me and asked that I get in touch with him early this week for a feature story on the VR4. I also got a full video interview from The617.com - Boston and Beyond , video and an actual on camera with reporter style interview. I hope to see that soon.

Was very nice meeting you too! Quite the coincidence that we rolled in at the same time and ended up about 4 cars away during the show! (and you almost got my name right; it's Lori)
I'm totally not about the neon and rice crap either. Your car looking amazing. Unfortunately mine was in the light from the Bridgestone truck, so I couldn't get many shots, but it's not near as nice as yours anyhow. Good times, met a lot of nice people and had a great time. Haha, the guy from that site interviewed me too- twice! First time he just caught me walking around and asked if I was a model. Err. Second time was a whole interview about females with cars. Good fun. Too bad I was deaf as crap by the time I had the 2nd. Probably made a fool of myself. |

Yeah, me too, hopefully. I'm planning on getting my engine better too. I'll have plenty of time before next year to get her ready. Rushing sucks.
Here are some pics of mine- http://www.3si.org/forum/f173/my-3s-hin-boston-417355/ Next time I also plan on bringing bandaids. My knuckle's still missing a pretty decent chunk. Darn sharp car parts! |

It was nice meeting you Lori! Car looks amazing. I've got a crap load of video and pics from our drive down there and some from HIN. I'll be posting in the a/v section after I edit/clean it up.
