I mentioned the nice beach- Silver Sands, but nobody seemed to take to it. It's free to get it, lots of parking, and barbeques for grillin. What would everyone rather do?

Sorry for being MIA for a few days. Between computer issues and recovering from a back surgery proved more difficult than it should have been.
Enough with the excuses. So here is the plan: Location - Lighthouse point park, New Haven CT. (about mid way for everyone coming) Like to park site -http://www.lisrc.uconn.edu/coastalaccess/site.asp?siteid=411 Date - Sunday May 25th. Time to show - 10 to 11 am We can bring food for picnicing (no grills listed on site but I'll drive there this Saturday to confirm) Lunch at 12. I'm going to create a new thread for the gathering so post up there.
