2nd Annual Memorial day run (planning thread) - Page 2 - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

I'm in. I vote for the Sunday because that little meet I organized in early March had a good turnout considering the time of year and weather. I think Sundays are generally good for a lot of people. Also, my wife is off that day so both my cars could show. Just have to clean up the '99 a bit and put insurance back on it. Regardless of the day, though, I'll be there. Look forward to seeing everyone again and meeting some new folks as well.

Wow, I'm actually free all 3 days!

I suggest that we could meet up at Silver Sands beach in Milford. It's a nice place with lots of parking. It has a picnic area and grills if we want to do some grillin, and it's right on the beach. It's pretty much down the street from Hooters.

Looks like from the pic that you guys met at Hooters in Milford last year?

No, we met at the Hooters on the Berlin Tpke last year then cruised down Rt. 9 to Old Lyme.

Your idea for Milford sounds good. Is there a charge to get into the beach parking area?

i'm not sure whats going on yet with that weekend but i would be down with meeting some of you guys and heading down there with a 3si's from up here in rhode island. Would be easier if we could put meet right on the ct/ri border, mistic westerly area.
