2nd Annual Memorial day run (planning thread) - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

Hey everyone. It is time to start planning for a Memorial Day run for this year. This will be the second year for this run in Connecticut and I hope to have a good turnout. Last year's was fun and I hope to up the enjoyment.

I wanted to start the planning a couple weeks ago but major back surgery last Thursday has slowed me down a bit but hasn't put me out of commission.

This year I would like to work out something where we plan to meet at a specific location where we can say hi to members who we haven't seen for a while, check out new cars/mods and greet members who haven't gathered before and maybe get some pics.

Next would be to take a scenic drive to a nice pinic location for BBQ and fun and maybe some more group pictures. (I am also looking into t-shirts)

At this point everything is still in the planning phases so ideas are welcome.

Anyone interested post up so I can get an idea of the level of interest.

I wish I was free that weekend

anyone know that sweet road near RT 8 that winds around a bunch of lakes and hills? I think it is route 34 ... check it out, great views and curvy roads too

I drive 34 every day to and from work.
