My kingdom for a bolt!

It was brought to my attention (thanks Kevin) that Lighthouse point starts charging a $10 parking fee on Saturday before Memorial day. Personnally, I am used to paying to park at the beach being from southern Cali and now CT, so this isn't an issue for me. If this proves to be an issue to others then PM me and I'll figure out a way to fix it.

Don't want to rock the boat with less than a week to the event, but I haven't seen any of the RI guys sign up yet. If that is the case and some folks don't want to spend any extra $$, we could always move the meet to Milford... Mysticfyre had what sounded like a pretty nice location scoped out. (Silver Sands Beach was it?) Beach, BBQ, and plenty of free parking. But hey, I don't mind either way. $10 isn't a lot to spend for an afternoon.
And just wondering what happened to everyone else who signed up on the previous thread... Several names missing now.

I don't really know where i'm going..., actually i've NEVER been up that far north so as long as this doesn't get moved farther from me than it already is I don't care where it's at or if there's a 10 parking charge.

I went down to Lighthouse point park and scoped things out. What I found is that there are some BBQ pits but only a few. Since I am close I will get there around 9 and lay claim to one. I also still have lighter fluid from last year and I'll pick up briquettes.
When you arrive take the road to the left and that will take you to the picnic parking. I will have my cell with me so call when you park and I'll let you know where I am at. Kevin, Only problem with Milford is 1) Extreemly busy on Memorial Day, 2) Free parking sites are usually filled by 7-8am and as much as I like you guys I'm not getting up at 5:30am on a Sunday. Only if necessary Also, my girlfriend is bringing buffalo chicken dip so can someone bring tortilla chips? |

Awesome, thanks for checking!
PSST: Does anybody need a front door speaker? I swapped mine out a couple of weeks ago and still have the stock ones. I also have a chrome license plate frame that says 3000gt on it. Let me know if you want anything. |
