Plans are underway for the Eighth annual Upper Midwest 3/S Gathering. Its three jammed pack days of fun on May 18-20th, in sunny Wisconsin Dells, WI.
The Dells is a tourist area filled with water parks, hotels, go-karts, restaurants and other attractions. On the weekend of the Upper Midwest Gathering there is also a huge car show in town. So the whole weekend there are sweet muscle cars and other classics running around town. Its a car enthusiast's dream.
The UMG is now the third largest 3/S gathering in the country. And if you ask anyone who attends, they'll call it a "can't miss" event. Complete details about the UMG can be found at http://www.mn3s.org/upper-midwest07.html If you are planning on coming, take a minute and fill out the sign up page at: http://mn3s.org/lists/?p=subscribe&id=2
I'm excited to announce our first sponser for the 2007 UMG. LSE Performance is donating financially and some nice prizes. They'll be donating some Redline MTL/MT-90, Water Wetter and some Redline 75w-90. Thanks LSE!!
I put a little write up about the UMG on the 3SI Wiki at: http://www.3si.org/wiki/index.php/Th...west_Gathering So if you are looking for a little history about the Upper Midwest Gathering, you should check it out.
Sounds like a lot of people have made there hotel reservations in the last week. That means that there is even less of the cheaper rooms now. So I'll say again, if you haven't made your reservations, make your hotel reservations now! The UMG is only about a month away. W00t!
The UMG is just around the corner now. I'm hoping to finalize the schedule sometime this week. And it looks like we are up to 75 sign ups: http://www.mn3s.org/upper-midwest-list.html
We'll have some nice prizes this year to give away thanks to LSE Performance. We've got a complete set of Redline fluids including MTL, 75w-90 and water wetter. LSE also threw in one of there new t-shirts. I'm also planning on getting some other prizes too. Thanks LSE!
I think all of the cheapest hotel rooms are gone now. If you still haven't booked your room, you better do it now.
Of course its not too late to sign up for the UMG, just surf over to http://umg.mn3s.org and sign up. Its gonna be a blast!
