Upper Midwest Gathering -- May 16-18 -- Wisconsin Dells

Hey everyone,

Plans are underway for the 2008 UMG. It will be happening May 16-18 in sunny Wisconsin Dells, WI. This will be the ninth year for this big event. I've got the web page up at: http://umg.mn3s.org I've also talk to Baker's Sunset Bay Resort. They are ready to take your reservations. One different thing this year, is you'll need to reserve a two night minimum at the hotel. We'll be getting 20% off there "B" rates. Its makes the cheapest rooms a little more expensive than last year, but some of the bigger rooms and cottages, should be slightly less.

The sign up page for the UMG is at: http://mn3s.org/lists/?p=subscribe&id=6 Please sign up if you are coming. I have a couple of new fields on the sign up page. There is an optional address field and cell phone number field. Fill in the address field if you like to get future reminders about the UMG. Fill in the cell phone field if you'd like to get a text message reminder about this year's UMG a few weeks before the event. Just remember, those two fields are optional.

LOL. I doubt it. Southern Wisconsin got a lot of snow this year, but not that much.

Bring some rope and roller blades and I'll tow you behind my car. hehe.

Then make sure to get your hotel reservation soon. Also, if you'd like to add the UMG banner to your signature on the message boards out there, add this:

Replace the two "{" with "[" and it will work in your signature. Having the banner in your signature is one of the best and easiest ways to advertise the UMG.

Take a look at the list and if you don't see your friends listed on there, its time to start harassing them about it. We are less than eight weeks away from the UMG now. Lets make this the biggest and best one yet!

Hey everyone,

I got an e-mail from Baker's today. Looks like we have 20 rooms reserved at the hotel so far. That is great! We have about 10 more rooms set aside for our group. So don't wait too long before making your reservations. Start thinking about the UMG!!

I haven't checked with the hotel lately, but I'm sure the room selection is getting pretty lean. So make your reservations now. Less than four weeks away from the UMG.

Hey everyone,

I've got a hotel update. We have 35 rooms reserved at Baker's Sunset Bay Resort. They still have a few rooms left, but they are going fast. So make your reservation now, if you haven't already.

I just updated the sign up list. We've got 71 people signed up. In the next week or so, I'll be finalizing the schedule. So stay tuned for that. And if your 3/S buddies are not signed up, get on there case about it.

hahahaha.. after looking at the dates.. 16-18 thats when my sister planned on going to wisconsin dells also.. so I might be there with my car.. Just Look for the pearl white vr4 with a red 99 front bumper..
