I know its cliché I think I'm a pretty good driver, have gotten out of a few accidents and I know some of my friends wouldnt have been able to get out of. So theasianeffect I hope your a really good driver if you expect to get one at 16 cause thats alot of power for someone that is 16.
Ya, i'm planning on waiting til my junior/senior year of college to try to get one. And after graduation from UNOH i should have all the know-how to fix it myself

Exactly, in the 20's sometime would be best...

I'm now scared about a 16 year possibly old having a VR-4

Insurance on a VR4 for a 16-year old has got to be outrageous I'd imagine.....or even a 20-year old. Hell, it's high for me and I get the old married man clean record fleet car discount. hehe

Yea i would think so, but what is crazy the insurance for my 94 3000GT Base is cheaper than what it was for my 93 Ford Taurus. Like 5-10 dollars cheaper...I was so surprised yet so happy

I was paying $2700 a year for full coverage on my SL when i was under 21....

You guys should check out Michiana3s.org once its back up and running. GR area is technically more close to GR than the Michigan group is.

yeah i know me being only 16 and owning a vr4 is crazy, but i know people may say it there selfs, but i think im a really good driver my self. and i have also gotten out of many situations that i know people couldn't of either, but see the thing is if i own one now, i can can build it up for the next 5 yrs or so, then i'll be older and more experience to drive a powerful machine . i want it to be a project car. had my license for almost 7 months now, haven't got into one accident that i caused ( some lady rear ended me on the 4th of july ) and havent gotten any speeding tickets either but yeah i understand this whole thing may sound crazy but eh, you only live once =D

Well thought I would add this, when I pulled into work today (kmart) I saw a white Stealth pulling out of a parking spot and went over to family fare (same parking lot). If I didn't have to be into work in a min i would have chased that guy down to talk to him, I was bummed rest of the day.
