Arrow *West MI '08 BBQ Thread*

Alright officially in the planning stages now!

Last year recap:
We did it at Matt's house. Nice turn-out had about 10-15 or so cars show up... B-rad stalled his car in reverse , sorry Brad just had to add that, it was understandable but still gotta give you grief

Now for the '08 BBQ. First question on the agenda is, Matt's house? Matt are you willing to host it again? Does anyone have any ideas other then Matt's just for variety and to make it democratic

Also date! I'm thinking mid July? June we dont want to contend with NG, and May is a little close, oh wait its here NM! I will be leaving for Army Basic Training August 8th so if at all possible before that!

Ya if everyone wants Im happy to do it again. As far as a date June works, just want to see when the michigan bbq is over in detroit. I want to make it to that this year. Also what days work best for everyone? Sundays are a no go if I have it here.

You can count me in. Just need to know date/time so I can get work off.

O ya I sold the supra to some guy out of the Grand Haven area. So you guys on the west side of the state will most likely see it now. Got 21,500 for it roughly a 9k profit for me

This is what Bret H. has to say:

Thanks for throwing this out here Jacob. I'm going to spam here since I don't have 3si.org login and don't really want one.

My available weekends based on my child custody schedule:

Weekend of June 6th and 20th,
Weekend of July 18th MAYBE. I owe one swap to baby-momma so this may be the weekend.
Weekend of August 1st

Also, I would be happy to host at my place. The perks are the lake, boat, etc. Downside is it's 1 mile of dirt road, on a dry day that means your pretty cars get a nice sheen of dust on them on the way to the house. Plenty of room to line up the cars at my neighbors house though.

Ok guys we really need to get this squared away at least to some extent lol.

So just so we have something to base off, tentative date and time:

Who: Any 3s owner/previous owner (car at the BBQ is recommended but not required). Even if you've never been to a gathering, dont know a single person etc, your welcome to show! New faces are always welcome and encouraged =]
When: June 14th (Saturday)
Where: Matt's House (Dorr, anyone needing directions just ask)

So start spreading the word and lets get a really nice turn out.

Now, like I mentioned in the Michiana thread, I'd personally like to do a cruise in there somewhere. Not sure exactly how we would fit it in, maybe actually do the BBQ at a park but meet at Matt's and cruise to the park. Anyone know of any good parks to do that at in the general area? speak up folks!
