Default Throwing in The Towel!

As many of you know, I have been doing work for local 3S owners on their cars for the last 6+ years. This has included over 50 clutch swaps, a dozen engine rebuilds, over twenty 60K jobs, and other work totalling 92 jobs among 64 owners. Up till now it's been fun. I have enjoyed the work, met a lot of great people, and have made some good friends along the way. These cars are really special too, and I appreciate the privilege and trust many of you have given me to work on yours. I've worked on some real cream-puffs, and some real ding-dongs as well, but I have learned an awful lot.

However, due to recent issues, it's time to throw in the towel. I will no longer be doing work for other owners. The effects it's having on my health and personal life are unsatisfactory, and it's hard to continue doing something by choice when it's not fun anymore, At some point I'll be cleaning out my shop of all the old used parts I won't need anymore, but for now, the boxes, shelves, wall, and stacks of parts will stay where they are. Maybe I'll make them into some yard ornaments or something ;-)

I will however, continue to be a faithful member of the 3Si community, and will continue to go to the weekly Gators Gatherings and any other gatherings I can. And as always, if you ever wanna just stop by for some fun conversation and maybe a cold brew, the door is always open. Just give me a call ;-).

See you at NG!

I hear you Jeff, if I was married with kids there would be no way I could keep working on these cars. I hope you still have time for you bbq, I was looking forward to cruising out there this year.
