Default exhaust...

Today I made a fool of myself...when I went to Three-Star Muffler shop to get a new exhaust system. I know that I want a flowmaster 40 1 in/2out muffler but I don't know what else there is to know so there for I need someone to help me when I go there again to decide what to do? Marshall and I discussed this a few times but if possible can't we do this ourselves? What other good muffler shops are there in Little Rock or Maumelle for that matter? I am just think about gutted my precats on my NA 94 base and getting a test pipe then figuring out what tips I want. Is that a good way to go?

if ur car is a federal spec u have no precats just main cat..... flow 40 is good choice on muffler. single in dual out is they way u wanna go. basicly from there you havewhat ever style tips u want on ur car. also do u want loud or just some deep throaty tone?... i had 3sx downpipe test pipe and the flow40 and a resonator and it was still loud as shit. like i was gettin headaches on long drives lol i would go with high flow cat and flow 40 1in/2out with a resonator... go to arkansas performance exhaust off khiel in sherwood tell them a the big dude with green twin turbo 3000gt from synergy501 sent u and bring cash

thanks for your input Jordan, lol I thought my thread would die b/c no one was answering. I heard of a flowmaster super 44 and how its deeper than the 40series I might go with that. My test pipe just came in today so yeah a high-flow cat maybe down the road when I feel like not killing the environment, I would like a deep throaty tone...I'll check out that exhaust shop you mentioned. Any chance you have some time before or after summer to help me gut my precats, I'm sure I have a cali spec but I'll check again soon when I'm under my car tomorrow

does any one have some parts for my N/A like maybe a spare 3sx or ek2 or any good aftermarket downpipe laying around lol I know that a little much to ask but I got cash and will buy. The new ones from 3sx are a little hefty on price... oh and a flowmaster 40 series would be nice too.. but I guess I'll buy one like online and get some shop to put it together for me

Mitsubishi Re: exhaust...

I have a full cat-back with stainless steel muffler that I was gonna hang on mine but I'm working on an idle issue at the moment and can worry about the exhaust down the line. It's a Flowmaster don't know what exactly but it's a stainless steel muffler on the full cat back with tips... I'll link pics if I can get out to take em or we can try to make a day to meet and you can check it out. Just throwin it out there...the system is in NLR and I live off University so until I fix my 3g I'm on my two black Cadillacs

Danny, if you don't get his then I would just get an exhaust at three-star.

Just ask for a flowmaster 40 series (or whatever style you like), single in, dual out. Cut off everything behind the cat and build the exhaust with that muffler and new piping and your choice of tips.

then we can just gut out your main cat one day if you want. No need to buy a test pipe.
