As far as plug and play. an SAFC or maft are as easy as it gets. If you still have stock injectors you will have them set to ZERO. You will only need one once you upgrade to larger injectors.
I want to get ALL the electrical replacements out of the way. But the auto zone advice is well received. I can due 4 a back up CPU. I think that my CAS is bad. That might explain the cranking but no start. Plugs and wires are good. So is the ISO. Will replace PTU, Coils an Capasitor just B/C. Oh yes, I still have stock inj.

Been off site 4 a while (as U can c). Just taking my time 2 get the parts in right Next an ECU, a good Battery, then AFT. But 1st I'll check the MFI and C voltage across pin 7 to 13. If 0-3v, then MFI is OK. If more than 7v Bad.

Make sure you don't have any blown fuses. I blew Fuse 12 on the drivers side kick-panel area. With that fuse blown, my car would crank but would never actually fire up.

Also you can pull a spark plug wire and touch it to ground and see if you are getting any spark when you try cranking the engine.

You can get a refurbished ECU from O'Reillys Auto Parts for 250.00 + a core charge.

Good luck.

EDIT-
Just noticed that you're from Sherwood. That's not very far from me. If you're still having starting issues let me know and I'll try and find a time to stop by and help.

Thank's for the offer. Will hit you up after I trace this .07 drain on batt. I think Batt core is bad, or Alt is bad. Getting new Batt within the week. At the same time will get new ECM from Auto Zone. No Offense to O'reilly's, but a refub doesn't inspire confidence.

If any one has any experience with PDA 3 xe for a download, I could use the help.

I've been running that refurbished one from Orielly's for over a year now with no issues.

You're going to get stuck with either a refurbished one or a used one no matter where you buy it from, autozone or oreilly's.

The only place to get a new one from is the dealership, and you're looking at 800.00+

I'm not familiar with PDA 3 xe, what exactly is that?

PDA is a Data logger. All fuse look good, Want to get a starter relay and a MFI relay. Taxes here makes it cheaper to send away for parts. So I'm still in a holding pattern.

Has anyone had a bad experience in buying an ECU from AZ, O'reilly, or Auto advance? Numbers match, but pictures doesn't. Don't want to be stuck with restock fee.

Also, installed MAFT NOT pro. Still think I need an ECU.
