Las Vegas 3/S

I'm in Las Vegas. I found the Vegas 3/S site but it feels pretty dead with only a few listed members. Is there anyone else from Vegas on these forums? If so I want to do something.

At the very least, I'd love to meet up with the few other clubs that meet up at the In n Out on Sahara on Thursday nights. There are WRX (Flat 4), RX-7/8, Supra, Lancer, Civic and I think 350Z clubs that meet up there and everyone seems to get a long. Something like 50+ cars with no trouble at all. No cross member animosity or anything from what I could tell from the few times that I've been there. Everyone seems pretty chill.

Anyway, I'd love to get a group of us in the Las Vegas area to meet up there with everyone else and add to the fun. Anyone that's familiar with that In n Out should know that they're is a LOT of parking.

We pretty much are alone. lol my friend is in the flat 4 club. i rarely ever see any 3/s'. its lame. i saw more in indiana and PA in 6 months than i have in my 14 years of living here. i posted in the vegas chapter a few days ago, and no ones replied thus far. theres a shop by the speedway that works on our platform and they have an AWD dyno. its called s.p.a. care. google them, i cant remember the site address at the moment.

Ah yes, S.P.A. It's run by a guy named Vince (if he runs it still that is). I've known him for a while but I doubt he remembers me. He used to work for a junk yard a long time ago that I used to get parts from. He's probably the most knowledgeable guy in Vegas when it comes to our cars.

So you're in Vegas too red92vr4buckey? I wont be in Vegas for the next two weeks starting next Thursday but I'm down to meet up at that Spot when I get back.

I forgot about 3swcnc actually, I should probably sign up for their forum and see how many responses I get.

I remember coming across a 3/S owner who talked about a club here a long time ago but I'm pretty sure it wasn't related to "Vegas 3/S". I'm pretty sure that it disbanded since then though. I'd love to get one going again, something actually meaningful and consistent.

Yea vince helped me out over the phone with my vr4 when it spun a bearing. my cars in PA, i wont get it out here till i get $ for shipping charges. im down to meet at the in n out. it is the one by the strip, next to the trucker hangout correct? on trop? do you know where theres a local salvage yard that might have a few 3000gt/stealths? i need a decent used crank and one rod to get my car running. Let me know if you know any where locally.

No, it's the on on Sahara, west of the 15. I think the one on Trop caused to many problems and heat since that's where everyone goes before heading to the races.

The Yard that I always get parts from is called T&H Autowrecking but you might have to buy a whole engine, I'm not sure if they allow anyone to take them apart but you'd have to call them to make sure. They're pretty good guys and should give you a good deal. They usually always have 3/S's. If they tell you over the phone that they don't and you're in their area anyway, I'd say check in person. If he's still there, there is a guy named Scott (that used to work with Vince but they don't talk anymore) who usually knows every car in that lot. He's their bodyshop guy.

I am here in Vegas. Rich Best just moved out here as well. JeremyG is out here, though he doesnt own a 3/S anymore. Jeremy lives just a few houses down from me.

I hadnt heard about the car meet-up on Sahara. Is it worth going to or just a bunch of ricers trying to act grown-up?
