I was supposed to buy that, but some scumbag parts dealer (I think I know who the buyer is) out of west palm beach beat me to it. He only got preference because he was buying both of the guy's cars (he also was selling a no-title 300zx). Guy said tranny was good. I was going to drop the Mivec engine I'm working on into this instead of my fwd atx. That would have been sweet.

What really sucks is I saw it the night before about an hour after it was posted and called the guy. The only reason I did not go that night was because it was 11 pm and I wouldn't get down there until after midnight. That wouldn't be a problem for me, but I felt it was a bit uncivilized. I told the guy that I wanted it and I was going to see it asap in the morning. I guess I forgot that I live in South Florida. I should have known some PoS would weasel his way in. Well, I suppose lesson learned, don't hesitate.

I hate that this car is likely going to some scumbag that runs a chop shop rather than a real enthusiast. The seller did tell me that the buyer claimed that he was going to fix up the stealth and not chop it up, so mabye I won't see a whole car-worth of TT parts show up on ebay in the next couple months. The buyer did end up paying 850 for the car, partially because I had told the seller that I would pay a lot more than his asking price to prevent this particular buyer from obtaining the car.

Oh well, I didn't really have a good place to keep another car anyway.

what was it? an AWD chassis? if so, i am looking for one (not to destroy for the AWD stuff) but for my next pesonal project i want to undertake.

haha yea it actually was in great condition but had some problems for liek 800 bucks...
