New car news - 3000GT/Stealth International Message Center

I dont know if many of you know but my car acually never performed like it should, knock problems tuning problems etc. Well i dropped it off at 3SX today to get it straigtened out. Before i even got home they call with a list of this they had found wrong, makes me feel like a bad mechanic but also makes me happy they have found what is probably causing all the tuning problems. Just wanted to share with you guys, hopefully i will be able to come to some track days now

Kinda wondered why you never talked about the performance of your car.

I definantly understand the problems you can face with a car like we have.. I still have many small bugs to work out.. Hoping for low 11' or better come march trackday

Well so far they have found a couple problems that i somehow didnt find, one of my cams was off by a couple teeth

... Just spoke with them adn they have it on the dyno right now, said there having problems with knock adn there trying to figure it out.

yeah........... That's one of the main reasons I took a butt wad of timing out of your car when I tuned it. It knocks really easy for some reason or another.

Well, knowing who did your original setup, it's a weird one. Hope you get it sorted out soon Master Travis.

... I just heard back from them, they said the stock FPR is being overran? So they are putting on a adjustable FPR. And that they put in a test ECU and it lower the knock counts by more than half...
