Yeah, Ive been talking with him for a while now and Im using the same shop he uses probably. I im diving further into debt to get my car back up and running, isnt this FUN!!!!

So within a few weeks new motor, bigger injectors, new clutch. Yeah, Im so poor.... lol

92? do you have a forged crank? ummm... pistons, rods, rings.
i'm not saying you need to do it... you just asked what i would do if my engine was out. i throw money at my car like a retard in a whore house though.

i would ask others.

we're still all getting together this weekend to do car stuff starting friday night. my car is at classic collision right now... hopefully it'll be ready soon... so i can add all the goodies i bought.

the exhaust is off it right now... and manuel is telling me to "NEVER PUT IT BACK ON!" because the car sounds great.

Yeah, I seem to be dumping lots of money into this thing also, I think most 3s'ers are. When you say pistons, rods, rings do you mean like forged stuff? I have a motor lined up so im pretty much going with stock internals. The 1st gen crank seems to hold up fairly well from what Ive read, and considering that i will prolly never put out much more than 550HP the cast cranks have handled that before right?

Anyway, I guess i was asking if there was something you wish you could get to to clean, or if you wish you could drill holes for sensors ect that would be easier with the motor out. So far i have decided on
99 lifters
dual EGT probes
and a new clutch w/ resurfaced stock flywheel

any others suggestions?

ohhhhh... you're getting another engine. ummmm... i was going to suggest exhaust work then. gutting pre-cats, getting a test pipe, but i think you've already done that. ummmmm... what about doing some weight reduction work? remove unwanted stuff. get rid of the tar under your carpeting, stuff like that? i'd look into weight reduction next i guess.

Does the tar stuff keep put noise? do you know abt how much weight it saves? im torn between stripping the car to reduce wieght, but its my daily so i really like some of the luxury features of it. Would taking it out make it worth my while?
