Hey Georgia guys/gals,

This Thursday, Friday, and Saturday the 15th-17th there will be a Championship FIRST robotics Competiton at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The event is open to the public, free of charge. I wanted to invite you guys to come and watch.

The competition is between teams from all across the world. The game itself is kind of hard to explain, so if you want to figure it out, you can download an animation that explains it at: http://robotics.nasa.gov/archive/video.htm

I am part of team 118 from the Houston, Texas area. If you come for any part of the competition, be sure to stop by and say hi to me. If you see any team 118 members, you can ask them to point me out, my name is Russell, they will know where to find me.

We range from 17 all the way on up. A slight grouping in the early 20s to early 30s range. I started this obsession when I was 16, and I'm 24 now.

Thats cool, i just wanted to make sure that I wasnt the only "kid" in a world of older people, seems like the 3S crowd is older than most other car groups, but that cool.

Oh yeah, anyone have any more info or a link for this track day thing? i would like to meet some of you guys and see your rides, would be kinda nice.
