Hi all you GA folks. I'm not a 3/s owner, but own a 95 Diamante. I'm seriously considering turning this thing into something like a 250-300hp sedan sleeper and I think my only way of doing this is through the 3/s aftermarket as most of the Diamante parts are only available overseas and for my year model they are few and far between. I'm wondering how many Hybrid owners or even 1g owners w/DOHC are in the GA area and actively attend meetings as I wouldn't mind attending and comparing engine bays. I'm sure that all the internal engine upgrades would work, but things I want to look at are more external (i.e.exhaust, fuel pump, alternator, etc) just to see how similar the designs are and how easily I could use 3/s parts(stock or aftermarket). From what I've researched so far and from the pics I've seen many things in the engine bay are quite similar and I'm thinking the biggest difference outside of the ecu is going to be the exhaust setup, but I'd like to verify this as my mechanical skills do have limitations and my pockets don't have a whole lot of money especially if I'm buying parts that won't fit or won't help with hp gains.

my engine is mostly stock. i have aftermarket exhaust (custom) but you are definatly welcome to come hang out with us at the next me and i dont mind you looking at my car and motor, if you really care to look at a stock one

this thread is more for welcoming new members to georgia and other random off topic subjects. if you are looking to keep up to date on the next gathering, you should look at the other threads in the southeast. f.y.i. we eat lunch every tuesday and there is a seloc meet tomorrow that a lot of people are going to. both have their respective threads for more info.

I know there's a 1st gen DOHC attending the SELOC meet with the 3S guys on Friday night! There's a thread in the SE section saying a meet in Buckhead. Disco Kroger parking lot, then a run up 400 to Andretti Speed LAb!
