thanx for the welcome, an idea i had, that i would be suprised if it hasnt been brought up before, but have we ever tried Regional gatherings for those that were unable to make the NG? for us here in the south it might be especially cool if we could hold something like that close to the road course in Atl. just a thought

2 times a year we do the 1/4 mile drags at silver dollar raceway (I think the next one is Oct 14th) www.southeasttrackday.com . There is also Club wars, which comes around every now and then. Also, Blue Ridge Gathering, just finished.

thanx for the info, i'll have to try to make it to one of the gatherings sometime in the near future. hopefully i dont seem too outa place, from reading some of the GA3s posts i get the feeling that i'll prolly be one of the oldest members LOL

well how old are ya? I am pretty old, LOL.
I live in the S/Central part of GA so I only see most GA3S members once or twice a year. A great group though!
If you are near the Road Atlanta area, I'll be there next weekend (July 15) at a track day...come on over.

I wish i could man! i'll be in Al this weekend doing my national guard thing for the weekend. I'm 37, I had been going by the fact that most of the peeps I saw posting were mid to late 20's according to their profile. I just got my first Stealth in december of last year, been tryin to work some of the bugs out of it, i hope to eventually do either a supercharger, or single turbo conversion on my little ole SOHC. if it happens then im hoping to put it in low 14's high 13's, but who knows?

I really wish i could man, it sounds like its gonna be alot of fun, unfortunatly, it'll be a 300 mile drive, both there, and back, so there's no way i'd be able to make it in time. my car's not right at the min either, so there wouldnt be aby racing for me, i'd just be going to meet some of the crew. I posted about my problem in the N/A thread, here's the post if anyone wants to check it out:
