So i bought a new car since my cars reverse hasnt work in 3months. Everything else seems to work fine. I have had the car from 62000 to 108000 miles. Should i just sell the car for a small amount not sure i can get more than 1k out of it or should i just go ahead and donate it and get a tax credit. Its a 94 RT/TT Yellow.
Thanks for your input.
Jason

If reverse is all thats wrong with it you can get a lot more that $1k out of it. Especially on here. I can think of at least $2000 in parts off the top of my head if everything else runs good. I'd sell it on here you'll get much more for it as a whole or in parts.

If it is just reverse, you should be able to get ATLEAST $2500-3000 for a running 2G Stealth TT. I'd look into why reverse is out. With that fixed, it would easily go for $8-9K, as long as everything else is in somewhat good shape.
You are looking at around $1800 for the tranny rebuilt. When the tranny is out you will find out that you will also need an output shaft and input sleeve. I think the $1800 or so will include the input and output shaft.
Remember the above approximation does not include taking the tranny out and putting it back in.
Good luck with your decision. If you decide to sell, let us know. I might have a buyer.
Thanks all for the quick replies. I decided i am going to sell it. I called jacks about two months ago and he said it was going to be around the 1800-2000 like you guys said. Ill post something when its ready to be sold.
