Road side emissions

So i got a letter today stating i failed that road side emissions check, now i have to go and get it tested. I guess i should have known since i noticed smoke when i let it idle for 3-5mins then rev it up it smokes out the back.

Yet another cost i can afford, any ideas on how to help me pass this mandatory emission test.

there is no one who can pass you for little extra cash maybe ? maybe an inspection center in the ghetto side of denver?

1 Change your Oil. If your burning any, it will not have as much carbon and stuff in it.
2 Make sure the motor is warmed up. and the exhaust is hot.
3 Get in line ether first thing or after 2pm. There is a big line up at lunch time. Letting the car idle for 10 min will cool down the exhaust and you want to keep it hot. Your turbos will help burn like a pre cat.
4 If you have a fuel controller, you can dumb it down for the test.

Good luck. If you take it in and fail, the re test is free.

Thanks guys ill give that a try. I have to take it to state Emmissions Technical Center and not theAir Care Colorado station. Its free too.

I used to go by these almost everyday. How did I not fail? All cats are gone on my TT. Also, 98slept,

How could I get you to come out and do the backlighting on my instrument cluster and all that? I would want red in place of the orange. PM me details

Have i meet you at the gathering? i only do leds gauges for friends or peeps i met. I have a waiting list from few friends right now, and when im done ill let you know wats up. These arent easy to do, but i do enjoy doing them.
Ask mitsubishigto, she seen the red center gauges in person. They arent cheap workmanship quality.
