*New Member* Hey anyone around Colorado?

Hey I'm from Colorado Springs, Colorado... Just seeing how many people here actually are from Colorado, I haven't seen any new threads here so I'm guessing not many people drop down to these sections. Well a little about me and my car then.

To start off I am 16 years old and my birthday is on May 23. I attend Doherty High School and I am a Junior. I don't know much about cars at the moment but I am enrolled in a Vocational Auto Class, Which consumes almost half of my day at school (It takes 3 hours out of 7). We hold a Car show every year around homecoming, Hope to see some of you guys there, Its a blast! I'm loving that class, we just got done rebuilding some engines and now I'm also rebuilding a Nissan 240SX engine and we are going to race it out in Calhan during summer. The curriculum isn't hard at all, It's fairly easy, But what I want to do is that Ford holds a competition for High Schools each year... The two best people in each class gets to go to state and if they win they go to Nationals, I want to go and do that so maybe 3si would help me.

I own a Red 1991 Doge Stealth ES its throw out bearing is pretty much shot though. I have a couple of little things I want to do so it is a little better cosmetically (Dash Vents, Antenna needs replaced, A dent needs to be bent out, and lower window seals).

My brother is really the one who got me into cars. He used to own a White 1994 Mazda RX-7, Maybe some of you guys might have seen him at Grocery Warehouse. He was having a hard time getting it tuned since it would always be rich until he got to boost then it would go lean... Which was a major problem since there are no rotarty tuners here in Colorado. He and a couple of other rotary people had to fly a guy out to tune their cars which was expensive and a pain in the ass. He ended up selling that car and then he bought a Mitsubishi Evo which is nice but I would prefer the rotary power!

I'm looking to get a job ASAP so I can feed my car fetishes. :P so if you know anyone near the Citadel area who needs help then... Yea hook a fellow 3si'er up.

So how many people here on 3si are from Colorado, particulary the Springs area?
