Alright...

Well, I'm trying to figure out what to do for this weekend and getting ready. I forgot they are having a swap meet, and I have plenty of parts I need to sell and get rid of, so I'm going to have to find a way to bring them down. I've been contemplating driving the VR-4 all the way down, but even that won't hold all the parts I need.

I'm wondering if there's a way to get a group vehicle... Pete, Dave? I've tried to get my dad's 08 Suburban ( has dvd player in the back, massive, and brand new ) but he won't be giving it up.

There's gotta be a solution somewhere. My pathfinder wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so old. I'm not sure if it would make the trip there and back without a problem. ( I also really need to do oil.. Over a couple thousand miles )

Well.. Time to get back to work and try and figure this out.

I had thought we were leaving tuesday morning, since this thing technically starts tuesday NOT wednesday...

If Dave has to work.. Are we not leaving here until 7 or 8pm? I would definitely say drive the entire way without stopping somewhere for the night. ( It's not that bad of a drive ) We just need to leave at least around lunch time or so..maybe a bit after...

I took tuesday off because i'm not a poor player.

I think dave said he's working tuesday morning, but i don't see why he couldn't just do his work from a laptop and check in his code when we stop at a place with internet access for lunch or dinner.

Its definitely not a bad drive, and driving strait through wouldn't be a big deal even if its late. It is going to take 8-9 hours though.

On the group vehicle note, my roommate was going to be driving andy, but now he isn't taking his car, so I'm not sure whats going on there. But I will talk to him tonight.

I'll be working from home so I can leave whenever but I still need to put in the hours. What I'll try to do is put in some hours Sunday and then just work less Tuesday. I was thinking of leaving late afternoon or early evening? What does everyone think ?

Yeah... he only checks in every year or so. Somebody (as in not me) should volunteer to be the chapter president. Not that we have any sort of formal chapter, but at least its somebody that can be a contact for the crew.

Bridge - Girl you gotta call me. I'll set you straight. And if I need to go kick some douchebag McHenry county ass, let me know.

Taylor and I took my dad to the NHRA nationals in Joliet yesterday... it was hella fun. Had free beer via the Snap-On tent as well. WOOHOO!!! BREE FEER!

Wish I could go down to NG with you guys but I got work and all... drink one for me though. If you remember, try and spread the word about FARMFEST while you're down there. It sounds like we may have a few non Chitown 3SI'ers that might make the drive.
