that sux, I feel your pain... the $1500 it would cost for a Jack's Transmission rebuild just doesn't seem worth it, add to it the $3-5k for a paintjob(numerous annoying scratches), $500+ for tires, and other various things(front ball-joints, carrier bearings, etc) I'm almost at the point of just selling instead of putting more money in the pit and just getting an early 90's Civic to hold me over until I can afford a 993 or 996

as far as 3/4 I think brass is about all you'll be able to find...

DarkHelmet was looking at having new syncros made, and not from brass. I have no idea if that ever went through.

just be aware that it's a lot harder to put together than it is to take apart... I "dissected" one of my stockers after I got Skywalker's stockers and saw that as far as putting it back together you need to make sure that the shaft is balanced and that there is minimal free-play otherwise you're gonna have blow-by and all the other wonderful misadventures of turbo failure

It didn't happen, either he couldn't afford the first run ($10,000 or more if I remember right) or just decided there wasn't enough money in it. He sold off everything he had about a month or two ago.

Anyone know of any DOHC cars in the junkyards? I need the 02 wiring and stock MAF plug off of them...

Previous owner on my 92 had AEM, and cut the plugs off and wrapped them up....

can't get the car running until I get those wired back on.
