as of now, hoping to close on the house by the end of the week and i'll finally own something of value

only issue is that I still need to put some money in the VR4 to make it perfect, but atleast it looks nice w/ pete's wheels... too bad student loan payments are coming soon as well as a mortgage, which btw if anyone here is looking for a place or knows anyone I got 2 rooms for rent for $500/month(per room) + utilities shared... haven't quite gotten the response I'd like from craigslist, anyone know a better place to post?(or what newspaper would be good?)

So when can i meet some of you guys. Would be pretty cool to have all 3k's and stealths parked out front.lol

got one spot filled via craigslist and gotten a better response so far and more to search through on roommates.com(as far as housing wanted)

would have both spots filled and a heads-up for anyone who thinks that an interview is enough and don't need to do a background check.... I interviewed a candidate on Wed who seemed PERFECT... easy going guy, around the same age(I'm 24, he's 27) into car, sports, and had a lot in common with, even had a good amt of references, etc, etc.... well I pretty much told him as he left to get his stuff ready to move in on Fri and went to do a background check... HE'S A REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER... worst of all is that it wasn't some 18 and 16yr old thing, the girl was FIVE, yes, 5... needless to say the guy who is moving in got an extensive check and all came back clean and now just need one more... only problem is that the 1st guy isn't moving in until March 1st...

CLint be careful taking people on from craigslist. Make sure you either trust them fully, or hide your valuables! I've heard some horror stories.

My friends lil brother from back home may be lookin for a place so I'll let him know. Hes a good guy, I think 20 years old.

oh Clint...if you still have a room available in July, and then again at the end of august, I'll take it. I have two weddings I'm standing up in back in Chicago and need a place to crash.
If not, I'll still need a ride from someone with a turbo car so I can get my fix!
