oh i'm already getting the "you care more about that car than you do about me" and at the moment I'm getting away with spending more on the car than her
but yea, i was meaning to ask about the other thread... do you have stock injectors laying around?

Posted this on another thread, but just figured for all of you who are curious what the inside of our tranny looks like, this is the tranny that "locked-up" on me 4yrs ago due to the crack in the bellhousing(most likely from road-debris)
The Culprit ![]() The Shoe Fits ![]() Bad Bearings ![]() A Few Shavings ![]() All in all... gears look good... time to check on the synchros... ![]() On the plus side, shift forks look fine and everything turns smoothly... with NO fluid... so w/ new 2nd and 5th synchros as well as output shaft bearings should work like a charm and oh yea, welding the piece on the bellhousing I can hopefully have this done for $500 or so... might just go ahead and do all the bearings, synchros, and seals if I can get my hands on 'em... just need a press to get the gears on/off(cough... Dan... cough) |
