Todd sold his VR4 a few years ago.

Chip posted that he totalled his a few years ago - so that's probably why he doesn't post.

dan... we're the same age(well I think i'm a few months older) and I believe I was either 17 or 18 at the time

I guess I'm just "pyramid scheme" bait... it was really depressing we went to one of those seminars and looking at all the mindless chumps the were mesmerized by the "silver tongue" salesmen on stage. The funniest was when they showed a video of the founders and they were stacking cash on the table and going "see, this is what you're gonna make doing this!"... lol!

Jeff... thanks for the update, is there anything you can't do

on that note, do you install alarms?

my fiancee has a nice one sitting around that is an alarm/remote starter that she was gonna install on her car, but her brother's friend who's one of those "guys who knows how to do this" said he didn't know how to install it, so I figured I'd ask a real professional if he can do it since after having my headunit stolen and no key-less entry on the car I could definitely use it on mine.

the model she has is the same that my best friend(RIP Simon) had on his van that has an LCD screen on the key fob that will warn you up to 1/4 mile from the car not only that it is being tampered with, but where the impact came from.

ludak... price?

jeremy... where ya been? do you still have that 248 #, I found it the other day when I was looking for another old number, I was meaning to call you a while back about the ECU swap... well turned out it was just "bad gas" that needed to be burned off, I guess those pricks at the body shop put something in my tank as it's the only explanation for how my car was running rough and having trouble starting...

and oh yea, about the Quixtar... I mean upon first impression it would be good if you made money in signing ppl up to shop at the "partner stores"... but nope, you only make real money in selling "their" products... I write it as "their" since it's supposed to be "your own business"... with that in mind, time to go back to work at my own online based business that is NOT part of a pyramid scheme

btw does anyone on here have experience with paint/body work?

I've been reading up on the "$50 paint job thread" and I'm seriously considering doing it myself... I know it involves a lot of time and effort and needless to say, I will be doing it with my air compressor, spray gun, and good paint(probably House of Kolor) as opposed to the rattle can used in most "ghetto" jobs or in the case of that thread a roller

if I can do it myself for $1k or less I'd much rather do that then leave my baby w/ another body shop that will either a) mess something up w/ the paint job, b) mess up my car....

as I decided long ago... the only other hands besides my own that I trust leaving my car in are Gorilla Fingers

aside from that, I'd rather mess something up myself than pay someone else to do it
