woo hoo... fuel system mods installed!!!!(AEM FPR, 3sx hotwire, and 3sx rail-loop)

now i just need to datalog and/or dyno-tune and i'm good to go...

also I decided to re-mount my DSBC and HKS TT in the driver's side vent above the climate control unit so it looks a lot nicer and more importantly... instead of having the DSBC in the center console I can actually see the boost pressure and change settings on the fly.

And oh yea... Greg, do you still have that intake?

not sure if it'll fit on a 1g, but if so, i'm interested

I've still got the intake, I can't imagine that the MAF is any different from 1st gen to 2nd, if it is, i've got the MAF too.

Also, i'm still looking to get rid of the 91 Talon, if anybody knows someone looking, let me know.

hey i just got pulled over and given a written warning for having a license plate cover and no license plate lights. is it illegal to have a cover for the plate in illinois? it's smoke tinted a little bit, the $8 from pep boys. i didn't think so but i'm not 100% sure. oh, and my lights back there were working just fine. stupid cops. it pissed me off because i just left the gym and just wanted to be home. should i call the dept and complain or let it go and be happy i didn't get a ticket?

and this was in the jeep lol..

I guess this is another one of those questionable tickets because the law is worded wrong. The law says no covers that obstruct the visibility to electronic image recording but goes on to say obstruct the visibility or electronic image recording, which makes it quite a bit broader.
http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/ilcs...00100K27.2.htm

And this one.

(625 ILCS 5/12‑610.5)
Sec. 12‑610.5. Registration plate covers.
(a) In this Section, "registration plate cover" means any tinted, colored, painted, marked, clear, or illuminated object that is designed to:
(1) cover any of the characters of a motor vehicle's registration plate; or
(2) distort a recorded image of any of the characters

of a motor vehicle's registration plate recorded by an automated red light enforcement system as defined in Section 1‑105.5 of this Code or recorded by an automated traffic control system as defined in Section 15 of the Automated Traffic Control Systems in Highway Construction or Maintenance Zones Act.
(b) It shall be unlawful to operate any motor vehicle that is equipped with registration plate covers.
(c) A person may not sell or offer for sale a registration plate cover.
(d) A person may not advertise for the purpose of promoting the sale of registration plate covers.
(e) A violation of this Section or a similar provision of a local ordinance shall be an offense against laws and ordinances regulating the movement of traffic.
(Source: P.A. 94‑304, eff. 1‑1‑06.)

The smoke tint is what makes yours illegal.

(625 ILCS 5/3‑413) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 3‑413)
(Text of Section from P.A. 92‑668)
Sec. 3‑413. Display of registration plates, registration stickers and driveway decal permits.

(b) Every registration plate shall at all times be securely fastened in a horizontal position to the vehicle for which it is issued so as to prevent the plate from swinging and at a height of not less than 5 inches from the ground, measuring from the bottom of such plate, in a place and position to be clearly visible and shall be maintained in a condition to be clearly legible, free from any materials that would obstruct the visibility of the plate, including, but not limited to, glass covers and tinted plastic covers. Clear plastic covers are permissible as long as they remain clear and do not obstruct the visibility of the plates. Registration stickers issued as evidence of renewed annual registration shall be attached to registration plates as required by the Secretary of State, and be clearly visible at all times.
