Like I said Alen, it’s you forum, you’re the boss. I just find it odd that if you needed to free up database space, there are about (literally) 250,000 posts you could have deleted before removing an active thread.
The Lounge area has over 326 pages dating back to October 2002 Parts For Sale has 400 pages dating back to August 2000 General area has 388 pages dating back to September 2002 Again man, I don’t mean to step on your toes and I hope you don’t take this the wrong way but it just doesn’t make sense. And I know, it doesn’t have too. And even if it did make sense, it just upset more then a few guys. That’s all I am really saying. It would have been an easier pill to swallow if you deleted threads that haven’t been active in over a year before we got that axe. It’s your forum and I respect that. You’re otherwise doing a great job (that’s why I am a paying member). Just voicing my opinion.

So I got this idea for a great movie. It’s about two gnomes who find this bracelet of power and they have to take it to the burnings steps and toss into the cauldron of fire.
They form the Brotherhood of the Bracelet. Along the way they are trailed by a Merloc called Gotum who’s obsessed with the bracelet and nine bracelet bogymen. It could be a three part’er called Ruler of the Bracelet. The first part can be called The Brotherhood of the Bracelet followed be A Couple of Towers with a climatic ending called Hey, The Kings Back. |

I did some computer house cleaning, freeing up memory and stuff, and I can now see the "REPLY' and "NEW THREAD" prompts over on the Chicago 3/S - DSM - et all site . . so I will stop in and post my random babling there too . . . Though, I do prefer that the communicado stay here, in this thread. |

Hey guys. If anyone still has their stock shifter handy -- can I borrow it?
The shifting in my tt is really notchy. At first I thought it was my stock tranny. I started with my original shifter (which was very notchy), then went to a 3kgt short shifter (which was even worse). Then my output shaft stripped, and since I figured my synchros were shot, I bought a Kormex tranny. Now the Kormex has notchy shifting too. I saw Jeff last week, and he checked the shifter linkage, which was smooth. (He suggested I try this out.) I'd like to check how the shifting feels with someone else's stock shifter -- preferably one that shifted smoothly in the first place. Thanks.

IronMan - again?

Is your shifting smooth with the clutch in and the car off? If so - how could it be your linkage or something external from the tranny?
