uhh it wasn't in a driveway it was in a parallel parking spot where you park behind someone....

and even if it was I already had a situation like that w/ the VR4 at my friend's house... his dad backed up and hit my car... HIS insurance paid

Ah, might want to be a little more clear, it sounded like you parked it where it shouldn't have been. Good luck with it all.

no prob... trust me I wouldn't be that stupid and if someone parked behind my car on my driveway I'd probably do the same thing

speakin of that... one of my friends did that as a revenge tactic... he took some old beat up cars from his shop and parked them behind cars of ppl who screwed him over and took the keys... so the ppl were stuck paying towing bills for cars they didn't own...

Quick question everyone, after some searching on 3si, I'm coming to the conclusion that my carrier bearings are going out. Shifting from 2nd to 3rd and 4th to 5th makes a slight clunking noise if i shift it somewhat quickly. If i feather it in, its not noticeable. And also in 1st and 2nd gear, if I take it up to 3.5k or a little higher and let of the gas, i hear the clunk as well. It sounds like its coming from right under my seat. Does that sound like carrier bearings to you guys?

It can be done without a press but its still a pain no matter what.

i've seen t-cases hit the unibody do to bad mounts but hopefully yours isnt that bad

How would i find out if the motor mounts are bad? I know excessive wheel hop is a symptom, but i dont drive the car that hard so I wouldnt know if i hop that bad.
