A friend who just upgraded from that same set up ( from a Roe S/C'r to TT's ) asked if it has an upgraded fuel pump on it, along with a return line ? If not, that will free up some power as the factory fuel pump is very small. He also recommended that you put a wideband 02 on it ASAP. Properly tuned with this set up he said 700+rwhp.

Are you referring to Paulo ( I think that's his name?) from Elburn? Last time I was in IL, I heard he was slapping on TT's to his viper. I'm curious to know if there are any TT Viper's running around the western burbs. I took the car into emissions today and it was rejected for exhaust dilution. Not sure what's leaking but I spewed out an 1800 on hydrocarbon's when 220 is the max. I would have failed miserably anyways if it wasn't rejected. I'm not sure what else I can do- the car was leaned out big time with an arc2- everything was in the red throughout the entire powerband. I drove it hard for about 2 hours and it has an ATR cat in it. They didn't even get into the car to rev it. They just left it at idle and ran the test and handed back the rejection. Has anyone in the Chicago area passed emissions with 720cc injectors and no evap system? I'm thinking it can't be done- those 720's are just too big. The car stinks up the garage even when leaned out to the point of dying out. I have a set of stock injectors lying around that I might swap in- I'm getting tired of tearing this car apart. I have till Friday to pass it and 3 more fail attempts before I use up all my permits and graces with the Illinois EPA. If I can't get it done, I'm going to send a big fuck you to the EPA and register the car in FL but leave it up here so my dad can run around with a test pipe and spew pure gas vapor into your precious clean air.

I passed emissions this week... gutted pre-cats and no main cat... passed... BE-A-UTIFUL!

I'm drunk BTW... and somehow I'm okay with that.

EDIT: uh... no main CAT... singular.

my car is registered in dekalb and no emissions testing for us

and my car reaks of gas sometimes because the evap canistor is gone and all that good stuff
