OK people, listen up.

Browsing thru General, it seems that Ray Pampena is offering to travel to areas in the US to do tuning on 3SI members cars. I for one would love to let him tune my 900 car, so how many others here would be interested in having him come to Chicagoland sometime say this spring(?) to do a tuning session ?

Speak up.

It would be a hell of alot cheaper to just take your car up to him and have him do it at his place. Here you hav eto pay him, the dyno time and other stuff.

I think he might have meant street tuning.

Not sure how you figure that.

Ray intends on traveling by car / truck, with his tools, so there is no airfare to pay. He is not looking for travel expenses, according to his thread. Of course we individually pay him for his time spent on our individual cars. The dyno time is a separate cost, if you so choose to have him tune it there.

To take your car to him, you have :

1) to take time off from work
2) the time and expense of driving ( or trailering ) there and back

If we have enough people to make it worthwhile for him to swing by Chicago ( I'm thinking 4 or 5 cars ), I think it would be a great opportunity for us. I intend to hit the track and the streets hard with my car this summer, so I want it tight.

Im going to have a lot of free time for about 6 months while I dont have a license. So Ive decided to start fabricating stuff, and doing whatever else I can. Right now Im changing the exhaust on my bike to exit under the seat instead of on the side. Ive also decided to pick up a powdercoating oven and supplies, so if anyone wants anything fabricated or powdercoated let me know and Ill see if I can do it.

when are you trying to get him down? My car should be here next month and i'd be happy to have his touch on my car (as long as he doesn't kill my t/c....lmao).
