anyone remember lil ole me?

I woke up this morning, and my Cadillac was gone.

there was a car parked in front of me, however, he did not get towed. Same exact signs posted for his spot and mine, but only I got towed.

Since there was a car parked in front of me, how the hell did the tow truck tow my front wheel drive car? Did the drag it out by the back, to make room for the truck to fit in front of it? Or did they just tow it by lifting the back end the entire way? If it was dragged or towed on the drive wheels...COULD THIS DAMAGE ANYTHING?

Thanks for your help

If its an Automatic, and you had it in park, towing it on the drive wheels will surely shear the "parking gear pin" in the tranny.

Any chance that the car parked in front of you left for a while, you got towed, then the other car came back?

Are you sure it was towed and not stolen?

Thanks for the reply scott. When i walked out at 7am, and didnt see my car, i freaked, and immediately thought it was stolen. A phone call to the local towing idiots proved my thought wrong. Too bad, i thought I was getting a new car.

It was in park, and is automatic.

The car in front of me definately did not move. Im almost 99.99999% positive on that. I got home at 2am and parked. For some reason when I parked, I read the guys Jesus Bumper stickers that were in front of me. Sure enough, same exact car still there, NOT TOWED (pricks), and still has those "what would Jesus do" stickers on it. Well Jesus would get his car towed...thats what he would do!

Anyways...I picked up the car 145 dollars later + a 30 parking ticket. Seems to drive fine, but that is not to say something wont come up in a day or two.

Do I have any course of action to take, or is this like the story of my life, and im Fu$ked if there turns out to be damage.

Well, I appreciate your response's.....Im going to blow off some steam and hit the gym.

Sounds to me like as long as you are living in the bible belt, you may want to invest in a WWJD bumper sticker!

Seriously, thats the biggest reason I have veterans tags, the amount I spent is definately less than the amount of slack some cops will cut me.
