Thanks man, I will check it out. I'm just trying to at least hit the side of the barn. I bought 500 rounds of .22 Long Rifle. Should be fun.

what range are you guys shooting at? 100? 200? 300 yards?

if its gonna be less than that i would go to an indoor range in aurora i cant remember the name JR shooting or something like that, but they have 75 foot range they allow up to 30-06 rounds on that range but then again its only 25 yards lol not much of a challenge unless your shooting a handgun

good luck

Sorry, I should have mentioned...It will be handguns. Me with a Rugar .22 Mark IV pistol and he with a Berretta 9mm.

A few years ago, I shot a Rugar .357 magnum police service six, and I have to say that if you broke into my house and were 30 feet away from me when I confronted you with it, you probably could have breakdanced out the front door while stopping to get a beer out of the fridge and I still couldn't have gotten you. I'm better with the .22 pistol. And I like Rugar products, they are well-made.

i would take a rugar over a beretta anyday.. although i woudl rather clean a berretta over a rugar... damn complicated gun lol

if thats the case check out that indoor range in aurora it has electronic range holders.. you set it up hit go and it goes out to the specified range its nice.. no guess work...

Andy,
Beretta's are quality products, well made and great service history despite what internet "experts" may say. The limitiation of the 9mm in service is the FMJ round being an amemic "manstopper" but I digress.

Rugers are affordable firearms. You can get a nice P89 9mm for a lil under 260 + shipping and FFL transfer. The P345 is a new polymer framed .45 that is gaining in popularity despite a rash of failure to feed and extract problems in its early production runs.

Sluggo if you're looking to get better with handgun i recommend a Ruger 22/45 ...based on the Mark III platform but with a shorter 4inch bull barrel and similiar ergonomics of a 1911. You can pick one up for around 230 dollars.

I'm ordering a Mossberg Maverick 12 gauge and an XD357 (.357sig) probably by the end of the year when I'm done with this godforsaken christmas shopping. If I can convince Kristin I'll see if I can pick up a Bushmaster M4 Clone, 750 dollars.

Oh one last thing....Andy I know some places in North Dakota to go P-dog hunting but man....I really want to go but its a freaking long ass drive

Yea i thought about it, then looked at the options available:

CF hood - I was very close to getting this but then i realized that with a completely stock car and a carbon fiber hood i wouldnt be doing a very good job representing the 3/s since people would assume right away that it is heavily modified because most cars with carbon fiber body components are heavily modified. Also because it didnt seem like a reasonable upgrade since after calculating the price was comming out to EDIT: $515 over what the insurance was already paying for it. For that much money and some work into the car and i can gain about 75 awhp.

Full 99 front end - I dont like the way it looks on pearl white and i REALLY like pearl white. The 97 3000gt pearl white front looks just fine. but when i get an FMIC its gonna be a PITA to clear that bumper. Oh well, i'll figure something out by then.

Thanks for the concern though,

- Syed

Edit: The new wheels and tires are on their way as you're reading this.

Syed, I can get you a green 2nd gen hood that just needs to be stripped and painted for about 300, maybe a little less. If you are interested just let me know, I figure its money you could then spend elsewhere.
