Hell no. I wouldn’t know C if you filled a pool full of C and I was drowning in it.

I am however a VBA god. I used to build GUIs (mostly to databases). I used to write a lot of “mini” applications. Mostly I would create custom macros for Excel, or programs that would allow the user to integrate various Windows applications with whatever program they were using.

I don’t know squat about mainframe or “backend” programming.

LOL See, I was correct.

Well, I guess I could be a guru. It depends on what the topic is.

I’m a military guru. Although I wouldn’t claim to be THE C.C. military guru. Although I imagine I am.

I also imagine I can shot as good if not better than anyone here. So I might be the C.C. gun guru. Although Andy is pretty slick with that shoot’n iron. I would enjoy going to the range with anyone who wanted to see if they were more deserving of that title than me.

I know an incredible amount of useless information. I may be the C.C. useless information guru. But I wouldn’t bet on that. There are plenty of people around this forum that know a lot of stupid shit.

I can’t spell worth a damn so whatever the opposite of guru is, I call dibs on that.

Sanjay, sorry to hear about you getting T-boned in the BMW. What does it take to get the side airbag to go off I wonder?

Syed...can you say "upgrades"? If you are getting a car repaired, you can use the check money to upgrade wheels or go to a ' 99 bumper, if you so desire.

Anyone: The best range in the Chicagoland area would be ________? Range fee cost no object. I got a shoot out with a secret service buddy end of January, and I gots to practice 'cause you know Cameron and Andy? Well my shooting abilities are like the opposite of theirs.

All: I hope McCain runs for Pres in 2008. Whatta man.

If anyone here has an Illinois based biz and are trying to do business in the Middle East, PM me by January. Mayor Daley is going to Jordan in February and wants to take a bunch of people to Chicago's sister city, Amman.
