I just hope they don't total it....my only savior is that no airbags went off, and I was DAMN surprised that the side airbag didn't go off.....but I did try and deflect the hit as much as I could....so we'll see what happens

Hey, I was a Systems Analyst for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange for 8 years. Your proficiency at programming ENIAC does not qualify you as a guru.

Sorry to hear that bro… I would be surprised if they totaled it for that. It’s a 740 right? Unless the frame is bent…

In any event, glad you didn’t get hurt. Don’t be too hard on the gal that hit you. That’s why they call them accidents and not on-purposes

Somehow I have difficulty considering somebody who wasn't even born when I started writing code being a Guru.

I hope your talking about Sanjay. Of course you could have started coding when you were 7. Then I guess you could be talking to me.

Are you claiming to be the C.C. Guru?

I was however about 7, when I first started playing with computers but it was a few more years before I could write any software. Sanjay might have been walking when I finally scraped up enough money to buy my own system after building a few Altair's for friends.

I may look old enough to program ENIAC but that's a little before my time.
