I think your right, it just checks pressure.

Chris -

Just run it hard ( on fresh gas ) to clean it out / warm the cat, then lean it out. You should have no problem. Not that its the same, but I have NO cats whatsoever and I passed with flying colors. Good to hear that you are back up north. I'm sure EVERYONE here would enjoy seeing and will appreciate your bad boy

Greg my friend you are da man...thanks for the help...the extra set of hands was much appreciated, also let me know how those AFC settings are working out for ya
Good to hear the turbos are working good.

The AFC settings work great on the low side, but I was getting some high knock counts on the high side, definetly too lean. The gas mileage seems to be better than it was though, i'll know for sure tomorrow.

I've got a very similar setup as you and have done limited logging. So far I've found that I've had to richen it up a lot for my high settings to avoid knock. I'm curious as to what you have for your MAFT and S-AFC settings. So far, my MAFT main/base setting is on 6, which is one notch richer than what the doc says for 550s. Then on my S-AFC I've gone +10 across the board on my high settings. I need to do a lot more logging though.

On another note, I think I have all my electrical problems solved. So far so good anyway. I've driven around 150 miles since picking it up. All that was done was replacing the battery cables. Nothing was done with the alternator.

Next is getting my A/C working for summer. Not only do I want it for my personal comfort, but I really need it for my 2 year old daughter. 2 summers ago I was able to use a can of sealant and recharge it and it held. Last summer it would work for a while but had to do it a couple of times, and by the end of the hot weather it was out. So I don't know if it's just a leak or need to replace some parts. Hopefully it won't be too expensive.

The only reason I think i'm running lean on the top end is the slight increase in compression, adding boost just makes it worse

I was just about to reply to Ro and tell him the same thing! I don't know if he knows that you have 8.5::1 compression versus our stock 8::1 compression.

Also, just fyi, I didn't call you this afternoon because I got out of work earlier than I thought I would and I went past Gurnee around 3pm, so I didn't want to bother ya bro. But let me know if you are free over the weekend, at any time, and I will drive up to grab the rim.

Ro: Check will be in the mail tomorrow, can ya do me a favor and PM me the name u want me to make it out to. Sorry, but I killed the IM window without writing it down. Thanks man.

And the GOOD news is that my timing belt jumped by *2* teeth (retarded 14 degrees) and, so far, it looks like there wasn't any damage *fingers crossed* it will be ok. On the way back from Jeff's place, the car seemed to pull like a bat out of hell! *phew*
