Big thanks for letting me stop by last night and pick them up. Need to send 4cefed a message to grab a 4th. Sorry about the sad state of my POS.

Anyone around here handy with a welder? The exhaust will not just unbolt due to years of rust and sh*t and will need to be cut. I would rather give one of you guys some cash than some exhaust shop.

haha no problem... and i apreciate it... not that .223 ammo is expensive but it always helps to have extra ammo

You may just need some air tools and liquid wrench.

Failing that it sounds like you need a saw and not a welder. But I guess you could crank the heat up on a welder and try to cut the metal.

talskinyguy - I was using a pretty massive compressor and air tools and they wouldnt budge, unfortunately. This car lived most of its life in Pittsburgh and it appears those parts have just welded themselves together.

It is going to need to be cut off behind the cat and have a new cat welded in place. Pulling on it also managed to break one of the welds at the back of the exhaust (it is a custom exhaust that was built a long time ago).

saiyincar - what kind of gun are you firing? I keep a nice collection at my place in Houston. I just started work on a Yugoslav AK-47 (7.62X39) but I use .223 in a few of my AR-15s.

You can buy an acetylene torch (MAP gas torch) or something like that from Sears Hardware and use that. We got the exhaust off my brother’s ’78 Trans Am that way.

That and a Saws All

So I got this idea for a great movie. It’s about two gnomes who find this bracelet of power and they have to take it to the burnings steps and toss into the cauldron of fire.

They form the Brotherhood of the Bracelet.

Along the way they are trailed by a Merloc called Gotum who’s obsessed with the bracelet and nine bracelet bogymen.

It could be a three part’er called Ruler of the Bracelet.

The first part can be called The Brotherhood of the Bracelet followed be A Couple of Towers with a climatic ending called Hey, The Kings Back.

Cameron, how did you get it back on? I do a ton of work on cars but never got into welding, I need to learn someday.
