They got lucky that the paint on my GSX, which was sitting next to the Stealth and also hit, did wash off but the red paint isn't very forgiving.

Too bad for them that you have to paint the whole thing to make it look right, red paint isn't very forgiving.

Elburn autobody is where I took my car when I slid into a wall. Looked brand new when I got it back, and its close to you. The also fixed my friends camaro when he nearly rolled it and distroyed pretty much the entire right side of the car. HIs car also looks brand new, and the most important part, everything lines up just like it was new.

No need to make a special trip. Just whenever we hook up is good.

Steve...Advance Auto Body painted my twin turbo, and I think most people here would say they did a primo job. They also just did bodywork on Christie Hefner's black vr4 spyder...they are in Skokie, and they are good. but you probably want something closer.

congrats on raising your daughter right.

I spent the morning getting estimates so I have a basis. There's no way I'm going to get what most places wanted for a total repaint. I'll have to settle for taking care of the areas with the worst damage.

I had one of the County Sheriff's come by in the afternoon to get the event on the records. He understood that I was giving the parents a little time to make good before charging them with felony damage to property. He offered that he could make a few visits if needed to shake things up a bit without me actually pressing charges and still have that as an option.

So I doubt I'll be giving Karley a visit, as tempting as it might sound.

Steve
