I hammered the brakes but it was too late and passed him still speeding. Looked in the rear view and saw his brake lights light up as I was heading into the curve he just came out of. I was lucky I had a friend you lived close by said curve, so I ducked into his subdivision and hustled to get to his house while constantly checking my mirrors for the flashing lights. Got to my friends house and convinced him quickly that I need to put my car in his garage and close the door. Thankfully it went off without a hitch and I didn't see any police patrolling the neighborhood, so he definetly didn't see me duck in to the subdivision, however I waited until it got very dark before leaving to head home.

Moral of the story - keep the high speed stuff for the track, cause it's not worth the possibility of jail time

I had a crazier story then that bro. I was chasing after a Z28 and finally got some room so we went from a roll. Narc cops were coming the opposite direction, slammed on their brakes pulled a u-turn turned the lights on and came after us, the Z pulled over but I said fuck this and gunned, turned into the next intersection and turned again into what I thought was an alley turned otu to be a dead end parking lot for a condo building. so luckily i hid behind a white cargo van and cut the car off. Walked out of the car and came out the to the cop flying down the street i turned into. Now that shit was close. The Z pulls to the light and sees me standing on the corner shakes his head laughingly.

Anywho, Dan I should be stopping by Friday night with your ECU, I'll be installing my new one tomorrow night. Peace

Update on my car, for those that care :

Matt is putting 50 or so miles on it, making sure there are no oil or fuel leaks, and then he will do a base tune to it. If all goes well, I will be going to pick it up sometime soon, next couple of weeks. He says it sounds great with the cams.
