I was interested in buying that car, it has close to 100k and the kid was asking close to $13k. It's been on autotrader for couple months. I drove it myself, runs awesome.

Travis,

You know I can't read. I had no idea it was on the can (must have like four cans in my house). I learned that at some Society of Automotive Engineers convention (SAE) a few years back. (I crash their wild conventions)

Also, a good case study in business school.

For loosening bolts, I use that PB oil/blast penetrating stuff that has a label on the can that looks as though it was hand written by a ten year old back in the 60s. Stuff works great.

Syed, sorry I missed you. My buddy was treating me to a free dinner at Backyard Grill at Devon and Pulaski. There is a nice looking Vietnamese gal who works there, I was trying to get there before she left work. Pathetic, I know...
so... did ya make it??

Made me ruthless in finding gas stations with free air. My new set of sport pilots- no air loss. But with pot holes getting bigger every year, who knows.

1. dempster & wakeagan -...not shell the other one lol
2. main & McCormick Blvd- shell

try test driving the honda accord 2003-2005 4 cylinder. they're a little torqy off the line and they last FOREVER. my dad uses a 99 for deliveries. so far hes put 70,000 miles on it and besides regular maintainance the only thing that went wrong was... nothing you're right though the mazda looks the best out of all of them.

Struck out on the "Asian Persuasion"...she gave me the "Heisman", as in trophy- (arm straight out, running over me with cleats, not stopping until she ran 100 yards).

Gotta remember that BP Amoco on Dempster and McCormick. Thanks for the tip. I'm actually excited about that place. Have you been in there? Darn nice remodel job they did. Good tasting sandwiches too.

Shell sometimes does weird things with their gas when they change formulas from winter to summer (and reverse). My car runs tops, but when I used to purchase Shell gas in spring or fall, Baby ran rough. So now I avoid Shell at these times, and no problemo.

Back in my past life in DC, I was dating this girl for about two months when I needed to put gas and air in the car. I refused to purchase gas from stations that charged for air, and she accused me of doing what her dad did, and she did not have good relations with her dad.

I always make it a point to let station owners know that I appreciate (by purchasing gas) their working air hose. Like Dear Abbey says, "If you get very good service, or very bad service, from a waiter, let the manager know."

Old school!
