Damon, the Toyota Camry/Honda Accords run forever, and there are plenty of great used ones in that price range at Cameron's CarMax.

Not flashy, but if you got family coming, they are the most reliable cars on the market today. Both come in 4 bangers too. My family has owned both...as a matter of fact, my brother's 1995 Honda Accord just turned 140,000 miles. Other than oil changes, tires, brakes, and routine maintenance, he had to fix a power window motor. That's it.

Don't be nice to car dealers. Abuse them, as they have abused unto us. Good luck.

Holy shit that's a good looking ride. Did you buy at a dealer or private party? A buddy of mine manages at Anthony Pontiac/Buick in Gurnee...they see a few of these Audis from time to time at dealer auctions. Hmmm?

They are a better option then buying a car “off the street” as it were. They are not the cheapest but they are so big, they don’t nickel and dime you when it comes to repairs. I have had a great experience with them and I will buy from them again. I’m sure there are other places that are just as reputable but I don’t know of one.

1) True. You never know what you're going to get when you buy from a private party or a corner used car lot.
2) Most higher end dealers operate in the same fashion.

Spray some wd-40 in it. Works perfect.

The drivers side lock was corroded solid on the '94. Mitsubishi didn't pay much attention to which side the drain was on and installed it upside down so the water that got in it would just sit.

There is a thread on here where I showed a couple of pictures of tearing it down and freeing up the tumblers. I have more pictures of the process but no time to do a VFAQ. It's time consuming but beats buying new locks all around or trying to get a new one rekeyed.

Every fall, for preventaive sake, I wd-40 my locks...then I dip my key in lightweight oil and insert it in and out several times, while turning.

It keeps the locks clean and working year after year. Like butta.

Anyone hear from Mopar Jeff?
