The largest bomb detonated was a 50 (some argue it was a 57) megaton nuclear warhead from the USSR. The Russians also have the record with the single largest warhead of 100 megatons.
The Russians always preferred size of quality.

sorry Bro had to do it!see now when i was watching teh discovery channel they mentioned that Russia had less total tonage of warheads than us but they had probabaly 4 times teh amount of us... so even if they made those few that were bigger they just had a bunch of little dud's however... i dont think i trust the russians to say that they are dismanteling their warheads... and here i am just happy to blow up a mail box or two! hell even the occasional toilet is exciting... ![]()

Wing Attack Plan "R" ?

Howdy all...read the history comments about Nagasaki. Today is also the 60th anniversary of the first reports of what happened to the USS Indianapolos.
There was a book written called "In Harm's Way" about how the ship that delivered the first atomic bomb to the island where the Enola Gay was was subsequently sunk by a Japanese submarine on July 30th, 1945. Through a real tragedy, no one came looking for the crew even though distress signals were sent and received. The ship had about 1200 sailors and Marines, about 1000 survived the torpedos and sinking, but 700 died in the next week because of wounds, sharks, or hypothermia. Only on August 14, 1945, when Japan surrendered, did the war department release info about the sinking. The survivors still gather every year in Indianapolis, Indiana around July 30th. Only about 15 guys left. The ship that delivered the bomb that was dropped on Nagasaki by Boxcar was more fortunate. The US only had two working atomic bombs at that time, and did not want to risk transporting them by air. The irony is that the Japanese sub never fired a shot in the whole war until that moment. If this sub sank the Indianapolis just three days earlier, then no atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Another history lesson: Mitsubishi built the famed Japanese "Zero" fighter planes back in WWII. OK, back to panties and where the hell can I find plans to build an airgun for $100 from parts at Home Depot???!!! I was on travel for a while, but when I got back my friend Marc (works part time at the Admiral) comped me in for a few hours. Whoa man am I old. They got two dancers that are 20 years old now. Still no alcohol, still full nudity.
