Nik, The SBC TZ clutch won't hold the power from your car very well. You should really consider going with the DXD-F or the DXD-C. I had the DXD-C in my car before and it lasted 26k miles with NO problem....that's a hell of a lot longer than the 13-14k I got from my old RPS III clutch. Also, I have the DXD-F in my car right now and it's even better than the DXD-C. Call up Eddy at SBC and tell him I sent ya.....hey may be able to make you a deal. If you want u can try my car out to see if you like it, but seriously it doesn't even feel like a 6-puck. -Sanjay

Nik what exactly failed on your clutch?
The RPS Max Street Disc you're using (along with Todd, me, Greg) is a pretty damn good clutch .... I personally would have a rebuilt RPS max series (talk to Rob at RBS and they'll rebuild it for u and rate the springs for u) and use a different disc instead of the stock mitsu disc that the Stage II clutch uses. I would love to use the Centerforce disc with the RPS pressure plate...i think that would be a great street/strip combo I'll probably go with that combo when this clutch goes (hopefully down the road..knock on wood) the centerforce disc has is a full disc but has segmented metallic pucks on one side and a organic/metallic mix on the other side...for smooth engament ment on the pressure plate and grip of the flywheel side.

i will let you know! Nik, i have the same clutch as Sanjay. i dont have as many mods as you guys but mine has held up nicely after the 500 mile break in i launched about 20 times already practicing for the track and i have yet to have a problem. the thing i really really liked about sanjays clutch is that it felt like less pressure than stock, on th pedal.... i love it!

The crayon box is off resting at the paint shop, should be back begining of May (or earlier) with a bright shiny fresh coat of paint.
And for any of you that don't like the color.... to hell with you! ![]()
