Okay, if any of you have or know of someone who has a DSM, I am parting mine out to make room for the RX-7. I will sell my 4 wheels/tires for $100 (for the complete set). The only stipulation is that I need 4 wheels and tires to put back on. Actually, I only need three wheels / tires since I have the spare.

The wheels are American Racing 16” and are in pretty good condition (a nick here and there but nothing big). The tires are Futura GTX Super Sport P205/55R16 and are in fairly good shape with some good rubber still left.

Bigger Pic Here

If the buyer wants, they can take the wheels and swap with their tires. I’ll keep the car on jacks for a week while they do that.

Also, every other part of the car is for sale as well. Including a custom 3” exhaust system

100% of the profits from this sale will go to the Eric’s LS1/RX-7 project.

I celebrated my birthday last Saturday night at the Robert Plant concert...front row dead center (the VP of Jam Productions is a friend). I took this 18 year-old petite hottie with me (my friend Helen). Robert Plant sang Led Zeppelin's "Heartbreaker" right to her. He kept motioning for her to jump up on the stage.

1) I can die happy now.
2) My official mid-life crises has begun.

hey guys, i figured i'd post this up. I think my alternator is dying as it's only putting out 12.5v at idle and like 13.1 or so at most when i rev it. So i was wondering if anyone in the chtown area had an extra working alternator that you could loan or sell to me. Doesn't really matter how old it is as long as it puts out decent voltage and will get me to the ng and back.

Highly doubtful that anyone has one, you may want to contact Kevin(mykiss69) or call up libertyville mitsu and talk to Ron. When my alternator went south, I got a rebuilt one from them.

Edit: Just remembered that Ron from Libertyville Mitsu told me that there were 4 different alternators put on our cars from 91-99....so you'll have to make sure the part number is correct.

I wonder if the alternator for the DSM is the same? If so, I have one for ya.

Not the crankshaft pulley, but the harmonic balancer I could see becoming two pieces

Crank pulley/harmonic balancer splitting is a common problem on 3s and DSM's.
