haha, alrighty i'll intro myself a little.

I'm Eric, i've been around 3si for over 2 years now, dunno how i never made my way into the chitown area before. Like my avatar says, i live in wheaton. I work at the circuit city in naperville as an installer. I'm 19 right now, used to drive a red 95 sl, just sold that car back in march and i picked up a vr4 spyder, and yea i'm paying for it myself. It's summer and schools out so i decided i wanted to start hanging out with other 3/s owners since all my friends drive neons and saturns, lol. Thats about it for now, anyone wanna know more?

Turbodrvn, I would just put breather filters on the vavle covers and screw the PCV system. It obviously isnt working for you and breakther filters will stop you from building up presure.

Boring Re: Chicago Crew Thread #2

woooh sweet spyder...now tha's a nice lookin ride..Now, see if you were working in the science field like me...i doubt you'd be able to own that car ...and you're 19?..I'm friggin 21...going on 22....damn it...where's my pay increase?

oh hey...guys, can someone sum up for me - something simple...a few good manufacturers for car rims... for instance. like what's the best to get..followed by the next in line..and what not to get. I was at tirerack.com ...seen too many brands there.and the prices are driving me nuts..I was wondering if I could get more info on them

Thanks,

Kj

thanks Brian; definitely a good suggestion, but I hope not! MoparJeff already checked my turbos when he installed my motor mounts and my new rear turbo return line. And we thought the turbos were okay.

sounds like you have done extensive research on this problem.. im surrious to find out what any of teh tuners think about this especially the ones that call themselves "TURBO EXPERTS"
thanks Andy; I'll have to keep those suggestions in mind, man!

Talskinyguy, thanks for that suggestion and I'm already on it!

thanks again guys....I appreciate all suggestions. After all this extensive research...it's frustrating!

And yes Sanjay! I'll one day install that spring or zip tie that dipstick! I just don't want a band aid temporary fix to something potentially major?
